This looks very fancy, it’s super tasty and it cooks in a flash. I came up with this recipe after having a couple of beers and decided to combine all the possible flavors ( sweet, spicy, acidic, salty) in this meal.
I used Thai pepper here and while the pepper was darn hot it blended very well with the other ingredients.
You need ( for 2)
- oil
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1tbp ginger minced
- 1 green onion minced
- 250g scallops
- 1tbs soy sauce
- 1tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 hot pepper minced
- 1/2tbp sugar
- 1tbsp water
Instructions
- In a small container, stir the rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and pepper. Reserve
- Heat a pan over medium-high. Put some oil and add the garlic and ginger. Stir and let cook for 30 seconds and add the scallops. Cook for a minute then add the sauce
- Reduce heat to low, flip the scallops, and let cook for another 90 seconds or so. If it looks dry add the water. Add the green onion. Turn heat off and serve.
