Eat better

(Experiment 161)White hot chocolate

White hot chocolate, really? My oldest LOVES white chocolate and challenged me to create a chocolate classic but with white chocolate. I personally don’t like white chocolate and will never do but if you enjoy it, it’s a great recipe and it’s ultra-easy to do.

Now that I admitted how much I hate white chocolate, I have to admit it’s quite a good drink !! WHAT! Yeah, surprisingly it doesn’t taste white chocolate too much and is quite drinkable. Try it and let me know what you think.

You need

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 90g white chocolate ( ideally couverture chocolate)
  • dash vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a pot and heat over medium-low heat, you do not want to boil the milk here. Stir until all the chocolate is melted and is combined.
  2. Top with marshmallow or whipped cream
