(Experiment 185) Almond chocolate

almond chocolate

I love almonds so much that I can’t stop eating them — dry roasted, natural, tamari, whichever. Obviously, if they’re covered in chocolate, it makes it very hard to resist.

The ratio I use is about 2:1 (almonds to chocolate), and I always roast more almonds to do a taste test — wink wink. But it’s really up to you if you want more or fewer nuts in it.

(Experiment 185) Almond chocolate

Ingredients

  • 200 g chocolate
  • 100 g whole almonds you can replace with other nuts

Instructions

  • First, we need to roast the almonds. Lay parchment paper on a baking tray, spread the almonds and put in the oven at 350F for 15 minutes. Let cool
  • Then you want to temper your chocolate . Drop your almonds in the chocolate and pour on parchment paper or a Silpat. Once its set, break it into pieces
