Eat better

(Experiment 185) Almond chocolate

I love almonds so much that I can’t stop eating them, dry roasted, nature, tamari whichever. Obviously, if they are covered with chocolate it makes it very hard to resist 😉

The ratio I use is about 2:1, I always roast more almonds to do a taste test *wink wink*. But it’s really up to you if you want more or fewer nuts into it.

You need

  • 200g chocolate
  • 100g whole almonds ( you can replace with other nuts )

Instructions

  1. First, we need to roast the almonds. Lay parchment paper on a baking tray, spread the almonds and put in the oven at 350F for 15 minutes. Let cool
  2. Then you want to temper your chocolate ( see how-to here). Drop your almonds in the chocolate and pour on parchment paper or a Silpat. Once its set, break it into pieces
