Remove any bad leaves on the lettuce and wash it. Wrap it in a clean towel cloth so it dries .

In a mixing bowl , combine the garlic, salt,oil,vinegar and lemon juice. Stir it

Take the lettuce and chop it coarsely . I prefer not to use the middle core as its bitter

Pour the dressing over the salad and serve

I like to squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice on top
